What It’s Like to Work with a Pro Voice Actor (Spoiler: Easy)
Let’s face it, some parts of creative production are not easy. Your client asks for 37 rounds of revisions. Your deadline just got moved up. And someone, somewhere, insists on using Comic Sans.
Working with a pro voice actor? That part is ridiculously easy.
Here’s what it’s like to work with a pro voice actor (hi, it’s me 👋) who has nearly 20 years of experience, pristine studio sound, and a process designed to make your day smoother than your favorite cold brew.
1. You Send the Script.
That’s it. That’s the step.
Need help fine-tuning the tone or pacing? I can help with that. But if you’re ready to roll, I just need the script and a little direction. Like:
-
Who’s the audience?
-
What’s the vibe? Friendly? Bold? Unflappably confident with a smile you can hear? (Hmmm… yep… I can do that… easy peasy.)
-
What’s the deadline?
2. I Record & Deliver. Fast.
I record in a professional studio. No closet here. Just high-quality, clean, broadcast-ready audio with zero background noise and no drama.
You’ll usually have your files same day, often within hours. Because sometimes, time is not on your side. But I am.
3. You Get Options.
Need a couple of takes with slightly different energy? Want one read a bit slower for timing? Done.
Think of it as your VO wardrobe. There multiple outfits for the same line, all tailored to fit.
4. You Ask for a Revision (If You Need One).
Hopefully you won’t, but if you do, I’m here. Friendly, fast, and flexible. I get that clients change their minds. Or the legal team steps in. Or your client suddenly decides they want it to sound like “Reese Witherspoon meets NPR.”
Cool. Let’s do it.
5. You Deliver Great Work.
Your media sounds polished, professional, and on-brand. Your client is impressed. Your team high-fives you. You move on to your next project like the rockstar you are.
And I’m ready for the next one whenever you need me.
So… Why Work with a Professional Voice Actor?
Because your time matters. Your projects matter. And you don’t need to waste either chasing down audio files, fixing quality issues, or dealing with flaky freelancers. (And trust me, there are a lot of flaky voice talent out there. I hear about them from clients ALL the time.)
I’ve got the voice, the experience, and the process to make your life easier.
