We call Caryn (or email Caryn, she is Hip after all), tell her we need her to voice a commercial, reserve some of her time. The day of we dial her up and she’s there, ready to go. Huzzah for timeliness and reliability. On to the voice…and it’s exactly what we want. No, client has some tweaks. So we say things like “a bit more George Plimpton with just a touch of MC Hammer” and she says ok. We record another and it’s got just the right touch of George Plimpton, just the essence of MC Hammer and she even threw in a drop of Angie Dickinson; she’s good. I’ll hire her again, my client will hire her again and you should hire her soon before we use her all the time and you can’t have her!
